too many jerks on this site... downloading audiobooks is not illegal. Project Gutenberg has many public domain ones available for download: gutenberg.org, half way down the page. They are a non-profit organization. Also a great website to read many classic ebooks, thousands of them! For paid downloads, audible.com has pretty decent prices.
